For commercial deployment, the Electos system is available as a stand alone installation. This comprises the Electos Engine plus the standard template to which any of the four Electos specific templates may be added, or any other customisation added as per the Web page design discussion here.
In fact, Electos based web sites may be further extended by the unrestricted customisation potential provided by the extensive library of calls which may be made into the Electos engine itself.
Multi-Site Hosting
The Electos system includes provision for operating multiple web sites, with an easy to use Site Manager controlling creation, activation and removal of web sites. Using Electos Site Manager, a new web site can be created in minutes, using any existing site as a starting point, or as a blank site ready to import an Electos site from elsewhere. Once a new site is created, a different Electos template can be applied within minutes, and without affecting the site content.
This makes Electos an ideal deployment system for hosting service providers, or for multi-department web site development on a company Intranet. A single Electos engine will operate many discrete websites, with ultimate performance limited only by physical server capacity. For very large deployments where multiple servers would be needed, Electos can configured in a server farm with multiple servers.
