Basic Electos Web Site Hosting

ASCKEY Data Services Ltd will provide a hosted Electos site for your business. Including some help with setting up your Web Page template. We can also offer  training, though most Electos users find it very easy and quick to get started..

The annual cost is only £300, allowing you to create several hundred web pages (like these) and covering reasonable "small business" levels of traffic on our Electos dedicated server. If you manage to create a hugely busy commercial site, we reserve the right to discuss issues of bandwidth, and moving to your own dedicated server - or even servers. If you need such facilities, hopefully youa re doing really well and the site is paying its way!,  

The initial set up charge will vary.

Small Businesses, Clubs, etc
For most organisations whose needs can be met from minor customisation the standard template the set up cost is £250. If you have been relying on professional services to create your content, you probably don’t get many pages for £250, and even less web site design work for £250! Thereafter, keeping content regularly updated to keep your audience interested is cost free.

VIsual Dataflex Developers
If you have a a Visual DataFlex development licence, and can provide us with a complete set of working Electos directories, then the cost comes down to £75

These installation charges include domain name purchase or transfer, and liniing to the web site.

Advanced Web page Design
If you already have a web site that reflects your company’s house style, or if you need extensive customisation of one of the standard templates (such as linking to an electronic payment system), we will be happy to quote for the necessary work.

Content Creation
We can also offer help with web site content. Our experience with Electos may be useful to you in coming up with a Web site structure that fits the content of your site, or you may simply want a lot of material created, or ported over from an existing site, which may be quicker for us to do, and which will give you a good starting point for future development of the site.

Electos Web Shop Hosting
Much the same as above, but we find that more support is needed. Our installation charge is £250, and if not experienced with running a web shop site and template changes we advise taking up a support contract as well.
